In Australia and the US you are very much shielded from the fact the majority of the world does not speak English as a first language. Recently in Austria I saw the extent of this. The bottle had some 17 languages represented, some I’ve still yet to work out. The list includes:

I was trying to explain from my little knowledge of US politics the present political scene to an Australian and I got this very interesting response.

Wow. Wow a second time. If I’d read this standing up I’d probably fallen over. The number one on today’s post-it note to do list is “Find Christina”. (long story) This confirms that second point of my stars. Also in my to do list is exactly the first portion of my stars. I’m still taken back, I don’t follow the stars, but today they are following me.

I just came back from Raleigh North Carolina today, and on Sunday I’m off to Chicago.

Thought I’d check out the weather, this is what my iPhone told me. That’s a maximum of -12C on sunday, I just went skiing at Christmas and it wasn’t that cold as a minimum.
